Neil
Having had zero interest in sport or fitness throughout my teens and 20s, it wasn’t until I met Craig and he motivated me to join the gym when I turned 30 that I suddenly became addicted. In early days, Craig and I trained as friends, but it was always Craig who provided the motivation to keep up the routine and not miss a gym day. He was also the one who would research form, new exercises and diet. His motivation, and seeing the positive impact, has kept me going to the gym 5 days a week un-interrupted for the last 15 years. Being Type 1 diabetic, the impact of this on my diabetes control has been huge. If I stop training for a few days due to illness or holiday, I immediately see my blood sugars rise and I require more insulin to accommodate.
Since Craig qualified as a PT, he has provided me more support with my training programme. When training with him, he’ll point out flaws in technique that I wouldn’t notice (even after 15 years training) and will always think of a different variation to mix things up. In particular, his knowledge of nutrition is exemplary and he has provided me many diet plans that always hit the mark (whether I’m cutting or bulking).
For someone starting out, or someone experienced but wanting more motivation or nutrition advice, I would jump at any opportunity to get Craig’s advice.
